Today, it is essential to undertake projects that will improve current methods for predicting and tailoring chemotherapy regimens based on their potential effectiveness.

The overall objective of the project is to develop a tool capable of forecasting and predicting the response of pancreatic cancer to chemotherapy treatments, based on data and the expression patterns of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), in order to facilitate personalized treatment for each patient.

Retrospective collection and analysis of available data (analytical, clinical, and demographic) Facilitates the selection, transformation, and cleaning of medical data Availability of a mathematical model that enables the prognosis and prediction of pancreatic cancer patients’ response to chemotherapy treatments, allowing for personalized treatment for each patient. Ability to include predictive markers of response to chemotherapy—derived from the analysis of blood VOCs—in the model Availability of an application that integrates the developed model and allows doctors to use it during consultations. Ability to define access protocols so that other healthcare services can benefit from the tool
