Working groups
Sharing knowledge, experience and challenges lets us move faster and go further.
Cidatum’s working groups bring together companies, professionals and specialists interested in going deeper into different areas of technology and in sharing experience, needs and knowledge.
They are spaces for collaboration in which to identify shared challenges, learn about new technologies, generate ideas and explore possible projects and initiatives.
The aim is to build active communities around knowledge, so that each participant’s experience contributes to what everyone learns.
Agro&Food Tech
Goal: driving innovation initiatives focused on the digitalization and optimization of agri-food processes, promoting the adoption of emerging technologies to improve the sector’s competitiveness.
Lines of work
- Activities stemming from collaboration agreements signed with sector stakeholders that promote joint R&D&I project submissions, meetings between technical teams, or networking among members.
- Development of agri-tech proof of concepts: gathering interested companies within the group, choosing R&D&I topics focused on data use, and ongoing analysis of the AgroTech market (news, trends, etc.).
- Development and submission of R&D&I projects derived from the proofs of concept to regional and/or national (AEIs, ADER’s IDI) and international (Cascade Funding) calls for proposals.
- Ongoing analysis of disruptive technologies and potential application areas, including the search for funding mechanisms and attendance at leading AgroTech trade fairs (Fruit Attraction, Expo AgriTech).

Cybersecurity and Cyberdefense
Objectives
- Raising awareness among companies, executives, workers and society of the need for prevention and investment in cybersecurity.
- Encouraging vocations around cybersecurity to attract new talent.
- Promoting and giving visibility to the cybersecurity products and services of member companies.
- Identifying funding opportunities for R&D&I projects at regional, national and European level, and tenders.
- Strengthening collaboration with strategic bodies and entities in the sector.
Lines of work
- Producing and sharing specialized content to position the group’s companies as references.
- Actively monitoring calls for proposals and tenders in the sector at regional, national and European level.
- Supporting the preparation of innovative and collaborative project proposals.
- Building links with public and private entities in the cybersecurity and cyberdefense field.
- Taking part in events that strengthen the group’s standing.
- Organizing awareness and training activities aimed at sparking new vocations.

Digital Skills and Employment
Goal: working on attracting, developing and managing talent, addressing the identification of professional profile needs and the development of existing talent, and fostering collaborations with institutions, universities and training centers to attract more talent to the region.
Lines of work
- Driving continuous training initiatives for sector professionals, aligned with market needs.
- Upskilling emerging profiles in collaboration with educational centers through masterclasses, technical workshops or collaborative projects.
- Helping adapt educational offerings to company demands, through systematic collection and analysis of training needs and profiles in strategic sectors.
- Developing professional reskilling programs for profiles affected by digital obsolescence and for people in job transition.
- Reducing the gender gap and promoting STEAM vocations.
- Identifying the profiles La Rioja’s technology industry needs and updating the content of formal training programs.
- Consolidating the cluster as a communication channel with public administrations on training and employment matters (vocational and university training).

Data
Purpose: strengthening La Rioja’s digital industry and ecosystem by promoting the Research Center’s and its members’ own products and technologies.
Objectives
- Analysis, definition and execution of proofs of concept for technologies of interest to members, to be incorporated into products and services.
- Identifying research at universities and technology centers that could be transferred to the Center and/or its members.
- Analysis and definition of possible R&D&I projects derived from successful proofs of concept.
- Definition of R&D&I project proposals eligible for grants.
Lines of work
- Currently working on preparing a joint proposal for a European call for proposals.
