Cidatum
Cidatum is the Data Research Centre promoted by La Rioja Digital. A place to carry out research, generate knowledge and bring new technological capabilities to companies and organisations.
Data is at the heart of a transformation that already reaches every sector of the economy. Knowing how to capture, manage and analyse it, and turn it into knowledge, opens up new opportunities to innovate, improve processes, make better decisions and develop new products and services.
Cidatum was created to move forward along that path. From the Centre we drive research, innovation and technology transfer projects around data and its associated technologies, working alongside companies, public administrations, universities and other players in the ecosystem.
Our purpose is for the knowledge we generate to reach the business community and become real solutions, capabilities and opportunities.
We carry out research to generate knowledge. We collaborate to take it further. And we work so that technology and data contribute to a more innovative and competitive digital economy in La Rioja.

Government of La Rioja
Agreement between the Regional Ministry of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society and Government Spokesperson’s Office and La Rioja Digital, for the creation and funding of Cidatum’s activities.
The purpose of the agreement is to set out the collaboration between the Autonomous Community of La Rioja and La Rioja Digital for the creation of a technology center under the name Data Research Center (Cidatum).

- Strengthening the current digital industry by fostering new initiatives.
- Encouraging the development of digital products and the cross-sector application of digital technologies.
