7th AERTIC Fall Course: Advanced Python for Security Projects

The 7th AERTIC Fall Course, “Advanced Python for Security Projects,” will take place on October 8 and run through November 17. Offered online, the course will cover the use of Python for tasks related to requests, retrieving information, connecting to servers, and testing website security, among other topics.

With a course load of 35 hours and delivered through ADR Formación’s Virtual Campus, this course addresses the growing demand for professionals with cybersecurity expertise in recent years.

This training program complements the skills of IT professionals from an academic perspective, as this is one of the most in-demand roles among companies in the sector.

Among other topics, it will cover the use of Python as a programming language to automate and define many of the tasks performed during a penetration testing process; the creation of Python scripts to automate penetration testing tasks; learning about the main libraries available in Python for developing security-focused tools; and promoting research and cybersecurity.

The participation of these companies is made possible by the agreement between AERTIC and the Government of La Rioja, which supports companies in La Rioja in expanding their markets and businesses.
