SDi Named “SME of the Year in La Rioja”

At a celebration of innovation and business excellence, SDi Digital Group has been named La Rioja's 2024 SME of the Year, an accolade that reflects our commitment to developing advanced digital solutions and adapting to emerging market trends.

The award, presented by Banco Santander and the La Rioja Chamber of Commerce, was accepted by Marcos García, CEO of SDi Digital Group, at an event held at Banco Santander’s headquarters. This award not only honors our 38-year history in the technology sector but also highlights our commitment to innovation and excellence in service. Along with the main award, other companies were recognized in various categories such as Internationalization, Innovation and Digitalization, and Training and Employment, reflecting the rich diversity and capacity of our community’s business sector. Over the course of its eight editions, the “SME of the Year Award” has established itself as the premier award for Spanish small and medium-sized enterprises, with a total of 10,753 participating SMEs since its inception in 2017. Participation has grown year after year, with the seventh edition standing out with 1,740 registered companies, demonstrating the importance and growing impact of this award on the country’s business community.

We are now moving forward toward the 2024 National SME of the Year Award, where we will compete against winners from other provinces at an event to be held in Madrid early next year. This will be a crucial moment to demonstrate the vital role that SMEs like SDi play in the country’s economic development.
