AERTIC General Assembly

Today we held the 27th AERTIC Assembly, where AERTIC President Ignacio Gurría de la Torre and Secretary General Laura Urbieta discussed the results of the activities carried out and the business opportunities generated in 2024.

As a historic milestone of great significance, the following has been recognized and approved: Launch of the DATA Technologies Research Center Project. An ambitious initiative that represents a natural evolution of the intensive work carried out by AERTIC since its creation in 2006. The new center will boost the regional economy through La Rioja’s ICT companies and will collaborate with other sectors, such as the agri-food and agricultural sectors, the language sector, society at large, and research centers.

We also heard remarks from Belinda León, Regional Minister of Economy, Innovation, Business, and Self-Employment; Jaime García Calzada, President of the Federation of Enterprises of La Rioja (FER); and Francisco Iglesias, Councilmember for Public Administration, Internal Affairs, and Strategic Projects for the City of Logroño.
